Oddly, the instructions on the Tetroclean can recommend brushing straight away, rather than leaving the cleaner to break the grease down. After the initial application, light rubbing only removed the top oil layer. Using extra liquid with more enthusiastic application worked better, but cheaper products gave superior results with less effort.
