Alpine iDA-X100

Direct descendant of our Issue 967 test winner (20 June 2007), the Alpine has a cool new front panel. As before, there’s no CD player, leaving space for a large display which included album art, song title, album and artist. It was easy to use, with full-speed operation, and the USB stick worked as it should. Brilliant, but there are cheaper decks that can take CDs.
