The lack of a lead for a cigar lighter socket – essential if you want to use it in the cabin – spoiled a fine performance from this Clarke unit. That’s a shame, as the unit coped with all of our kit at once and delivered the best mains output, although the fan was noisy. It has a USB socket and the lead is long and can be changed without tools.
