The box and sticky magnetic mount are easy to use, and there are no confusing icons – the Cheetah has clearly labelled buttons.

Like our winner, it spotted all our cameras and gave clear and accurate vocal warnings.

However, its single-line display isn’t as easy to understand as the Road Angel’s colour screen.
