Meguiar’s has opted for a short-pile waffle weave, although it feels softer than the similar Halfords. It did better in our absorption test but was no match for our top two, which managed twice as much. As with the Halfords, this could be seen on our bonnet where the film residue took a while to dry. Price doesn’t help in this company.
