Just as our winner is designed for sports car owners, this is our pick for drivers of 4x4s and off-roaders. It’s a great jack with a quick lift that gets the saddle to most cars in one pump. It had a great range, too, thanks to the threaded saddle, which can reach 550mm. But its appeal is limited as its 195mm minimum will be too high for many saloons and hatchbacks.
