By rights this should be the more powerful of the Halfords pair, and one of the bulbs was better than both of the Extreme Brilliance bulbs. Sadly, the second bulb was no match. A suspected build problem gave a less defined beam, which had to be lowered to keep glare in check. The current offer means it costs £25.99 a pair, but even at that price it’s still expensive.
