The Ordinance Survey brand is renowned for making great-quality atlases, and its app doesn’t disappoint, although it’s pricey to use compared to rivals. Large sections of Great Britain can be bought at once for a fair price, but these will only be displayed at 1:50 scale, so some finer details are left out. More detailed maps are available for certain areas. The old-fashioned OS presentation of map data will look dated for some.
