Just like the M5 with which it shares many underpinnings, including the seven-speed SMG transmission and V10 engine, the M6 is a technical tour de force. Hugely fast and stunningly well controlled, it is enormously capable. Whether it justifies the £18,050 price premium over the four-door is a matter for well heeled buyers.
