2012 Beijing Motor Show in pictures

When the Beijing Motor Show was first held 22 years ago, there were 2,016 cars on display. This year 1,125 new models were spread across 230,000 square metres of show floor, with 36 foreign-built cars and 84 Chinese-built models making their world debut. Beijing is now an enormously important date on the global motoring calendar.
