  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - front action

This is the eighth generation Rolls-Royce Phantom, a car which puts most houses to shame for levels of comfort and luxury.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - side action

The Rolls-Royce Phantom starts at £300,000, but there is an extensive list of options for buyers to tick.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - interior

The interior is a blend of luxury, comfort and function. A highlight is the chrome organ-stop air vents and rotary temperature dials, both of which probably costs more than a small house in Burnley.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - rear static

The rear of the Rolls-Royce will be familiar to many as under the bonnet there is a 6.75-litre V12.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - front quarter action

The V12, sat behind the huge grille, produces 563bhp and 900Nm of torque – i.e. enough to move a small city.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - side profile action

The new Phantom features 21- or 22-inch wheels, which, when combined with the right colour choice make the rear appear more defined.

The Rolls also has had 130kg of sound insulation added, a double skin alloy floor and bulkhead, and new tyres called 'Silent Seal' (which claim to reduce road noise to 9dB) in an effort to make driving a Roller super quiet.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - slight corner action

At the front, there have been several aesthetic updates. Namely, the 'plinth' grille is larger than before and the entire front has been given a more curvaceous look.

The aforementioned V12 is paired to a satellite aided eight-speed automatic gearbox for optimum performance.

  • Rolls-Royce Phantom - turn in

Rolls-Royce has also added some safety equipment to its luxury saloon. Owners will be treated to alertness assistance, a four-camera panoramic view system, active cruise control, pedestrian warning, and cross-traffic warning.
