New Honda Civic Black Edition revealed, featuring exclusive exterior styling

Honda has launched a new Black Edition of the popular Civic hatchback. It features various gloss black exterior details and is available on Honda’s finance scheme from just £249 per month with three years of zero per cent APR.

Additions to the Black Edition include black front and side skirts along with black detailing on the rear bumper. A chrome Black Edition logo marks the Civic out as the special edition model, with the black roof spoiler giving a sportier edge.

Like the standard Civic range, the Black Edition is available with either the 1.6- litre i-DTEC diesel (£22,460) or 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine (£21,455). The diesel offering is the more frugal of the two, returning a claimed 78.5mpg with CO2 emissions of 94g/km. Honda claims the petrol engine is good for 46.3mpg but has slightly higher emissions at 145g/km.

Along with the introduction of the new Black Edition, Honda has also launched various finance offers across the Civic range. The standard hatchback is now available from £239 per month for the 1.8-litre SE Plus, from £249 per month for the 1.6-litre diesel, and the Civic Tourer from just £249 per month. A five-year fixed price service plan for £555 is also available to buyers.
