Scholl Concepts RIM-7 wheel cleaner

Take the strain out of cleaning your alloy wheels with RIM-7

Scholl Concepts RIM-7 wheel cleaner

Scholl Concepts’ latest car care product isn’t highly acidic, as is traditional with this kind of product – in fact, it’s pH neutral. However, the manufacturer claims it’s aggressive enough to shift even the most stubborn dirt.

RIM-7 is a gel-like formula with high viscosity, so it clings to dry alloy wheels in order to remove brake dust. Simply spray it on so that it covers the entire wheel, then wait five minutes, and the gel will turn from its original pinky red colour to black.

That means you can rinse it off using a hose or pressure washer, and you shouldn’t have to spend time and energy scrubbing, either.

The manufacturer claims that RIM-7 is pleasant to use thanks to the ‘fresh’ fragrance, and that it’s suitable for any type of alloy wheel.

The product is now on sale from Spautopia, and a 500ml bottle costs £13.99.
