Collins Road Atlas Britain 2006

Price: £12.99 Main scale/size: 3.2mpi/A4

Covering all bases is the job of this book, which was an A4 version of Collins' A3 Atlas. The scale was the same, but it failed on small details and, again, motorway junctions weren't shown. The 20 urban maps were the same, but town centre detailing was better with four rather than six per page (60 in all) plus indexes. The price worked out at a steep 8p per page.
