Another vacuum to feature a motorised brush head, this is a direct challenger to the Electrolux Stair and Car Vac. Things look good, too: it’s £5 cheaper, has a shoulder strap and suction was almost identical on test. But we preferred the Electrolux’s slightly better suction and bright orange power cord – the Dirt Devil’s black cable is all too easy to trip over.
