An SD card slot lets you play music from memory cards, as well as from CDs, iPods and via auxiliary. The Pioneer looks good and is easy to use, with a large scroll wheel and clear screen. Plus, there’s iTunes tagging – which makes a note of tracks on the radio for download later – and it can play music from iPhone apps. Undercuts the Parrot, but forgoes artwork and Bluetooth.
