Even with the £9.99 a year Active Traffic alert, CoPilot costs less than most. And it works on a range of platforms. The interface is easy to use, with three route options, plus alerts if any go via a congestion charge zone, as on TomTom and Google. But the Bing local searches weren’t as good as  Google ones and the iPod control only shows if music is playing; camera alerts and speed display only show while following a route. Easy to use and good value, but limited.
