Our revised test with regular washing suited Armor All Shield, as it claims to revitalise the product's protection.
It certainly worked in our seven-week test, with Shield shifting water quickly right to the end.
It also claims to be better than a wax - and it is definitely easier to apply, as the free-flowing formula takes little effort to put on, and quickly buffs up to a smart shine.
Combine this with a price substantially lower than many rival waxes and you have a winner.
