From the moment you pick up the hefty Fein, you can immediately feel the difference between it and the other cleaners here. The 1,300W motor has a soft start and runs smoothly, plus it has speed control – making this feel like a top-end product. As with the Numatic, though, this is aimed more at professionals than your average DIY user. There’s no storage for the tubes and heads, leaving the long five-metre hose nowhere to go. Plus, we thought the instructions could be improved.
