Makita BTW251
Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

There’s a quality feel to the Makita compact wrench with its smooth-running motor. Next to the driveshaft is a bright worklight, which comes on with the trigger and usefully stays on for a few seconds. It passed all our torque tests, although it took its time with the final one – and at this price, we’d expect a few more features, like a battery indicator or torque control.
