Tamiya Neo Fighter Buggy DT-03

Even though this is the priciest choice on test, we can’t help but like the Fighter Buggy for its exciting handling.

Tamiya Neo Fighter Buggy DT-03
Overall Auto Express rating

5.0

Best price: £149

Even though this is the priciest choice on test, we can’t help but like the Fighter Buggy for its exciting handling. It’s quick off the mark and agile enough to negotiate tight corners, despite its long chassis. It’s only two-wheel drive, but it had no problems off-road, thanks to its grippy, rubber-studded rear tyres. The simple construction pays off as there’s not too much to the body, and as a result this car is fast, too.
