Dension DAB+U review

The DAB+U is unique in that it works by connecting to a car stereo’s USB port

Dension DAB+U
Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

Best price: £149.90

The DAB+U is unique in that it works by connecting to a car stereo’s USB port. It powers itself from this and also relays the DAB radio through the speakers. It’s an innovative way to get digital radio in-car, but we found it annoying to have to keep attaching the unit, plus it relies on your stereo having a USB port. And the reception wasn’t great. You can buy a DAB aerial as an option for better signal, but the DAB+U is expensive in the first place.
