Designed to go in a cup-holder, this neat inverter has a tidy, coiled lead, cigar lighter plug and an Apple-friendly USB socket. There’s also a socket to neatly hold the plug when stored. However, power output was the poorest on test and it couldn’t charge our MacBook, which somewhat limits its usefulness in-car. Neat idea, but mains power needs to be better.
