Transcend DrivePro 220

Keenly priced and including a memory card, the Transcend DrivePro 220 replaces our last test winner, the 200.

Transcend DrivePro 220
Overall Auto Express rating

4.0

Best price: £129.99
Type: Suction/adhesive
Contact: www.transcend-info.com

Keenly priced and including a memory card, the Transcend DrivePro 220 replaces our last test winner, the 200. It has more extras, with lane departure warning and forward collision alert. These are a bit too sensitive at times, but they bring added value and can be disabled. While it’s not as compact as the Nextbase and doesn’t offer as wide a field of view, the Transcend has Wi-Fi – for connecting the companion app to download recordings – and footage quality outranks pricier rivals, even at night and in sun glare. A well packaged, affordable option.
