New Bentley Continental GT Convertible Bavaria Edition by Mulliner revealed

Mulliner has produced a special one-off Bentley Continental GT Convertible which pays homage to the German region of Bavaria

Bentley’s in-house coachbuilding department, Mulliner, has produced a Bavarian-themed one-off of the new Continental GT Convertible. Revisions stretch to a new paint scheme, a handful of styling modifications and a range of Bavarian-branded badges, all of which will be applied at Bentley’s facility in Crewe.

The Bentley Continental GT Convertible Bavaria Edition by Mulliner is finished in Glacier White with an Imperial Blue roof, which the firm claims reflects the colours of the Bavarian flag. Other additions include a set of 22-inch alloy wheels, a chromed lower bumper grille and a pair of stylised Bavarian flags mounted on the front wings.

Inside, the Bavarian flag is embroidered onto the seat headrests, while a pair of bespoke “Bentley Bavaria Edition” tread plates have been fitted to the sills. Like the bodywork and soft-top, the dashboard is finished in Glacier White and the seats are trimmed in Imperial Blue. To finish the interior, Mulliner has also fitted a unique set of floor mats.

Like the standard Bentley Continental GT Convertible, this one-off special edition is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 producing 626bhp and 900Nm of torque. Power is fed through an eight-speed automatic gearbox to all four wheels, allowing a 0–60mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 207mph.

Bentley hasn’t announced any pricing information for the special edition model, as it’s been commissioned by a private buyer. However, given the amount of unique details on the model, we expect the sticker price to be far north of the standard car’s £175,100.
