There's a huge variety of models in our list, from track-day specials to exotic super cars. Yet while they're all very different, they've all been designed to deliver the biggest driver thrills.

The Porsche 911 GTS came out on top as our number one fast fun car this year. This model offers nearly as much entertainment and thrills as found in the race-derived GT3, yet doesn't compromise on the usable qualities that make the entry level Carrera so easy to live with. Find out more about why we picked it in July's special issue of Auto Express.

The Mercedes AMG C63 Estate roars its way into second place, with the Audi TTS coming up in third, the SEAT Leon Cupra 280 ST in fourth and the 911's smaller sibling, the Cayman GTS, coming in fifth place.

For the full feature, as well as an in-depth look at the McLaren P1 GTR and the incredible F1 GTR, be sure to buy this week's copy of Auto Express. Of course, the mag is also packed with the latest car news, reviews, product tests and features.
