Buoyed by the success of the Prius, Toyota is extending its hybrid reach with a petrol-electric version of the Auris hatchback. Packing the same 1.8-litre
hybrid drivetrain as the Prius, the Auris should be able to return 60mpg and dip below the 100g/km emissions barrier.
