Alfa Giulietta
The Giulietta had generated quite a buzz even before its public debut. However, the new five-door 147 replacement certainly lives up to the hype, with stylish looks borrowed from the 8C Competizione supercar and MiTo supermini.

A brand new platform boasts adjustable DNA stability control and a limited-slip diff, while a 120bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine kicks off the turbo line-up. This unit is available in 150bhp and 170bhp forms, too. Diesels come in the shape of a 105bhp 1.6-litre and a 170bhp 2.0-litre. There will also be a 230bhp Cloverleaf. The Giulietta will be available early in 2010, priced at around £16,500.
