If you buy an E220 CDI SE through Mercedes’ Agility PCP scheme, your dealer will pay £2,460 towards the deposit. You’ll still have to stump up £5,595.52, though, and the monthly payments come in at £355 over the course of the 36-month contract. Plus there’s the optional final payment of £16,950.

The E-Class is incredibly comfortable and refined and comes with an impressive equipment list. Highlights include: 17-inch alloys, heated door mirrors, LED rear tail lights, two-zone climate control, Adaptive Brake System, Collision Prevention Assist, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, seven-inch colour display with sat-nav, and DAB radio.
