Range-topping Toyota C-HR Limited Edition on sale now

Flagship Toyota C-HR throws in flashy paint, big wheels and leather seats to rival Range Rover Evoque

Just three months after the launch of its C-HR crossover, Toyota has revealed a new Limited Edition version – boasting extras such as two-tone paint, 18-inch alloy wheels and leather upholstery. It costs £29,995 and is on sale now.

The Toyota C-HR Hybrid Limited Edition sits at the top of the SUV's range, above the Excel and Dynamic models. Just 100 will be built, and each one is available exclusively with the 1.8-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain. The Limited Edition spec is not available with the 1.2 turbo petrol.

Standard kit includes a bi-tone black and grey paint job, 18-inch matt black alloy wheels and chrome side sills. Toyota has also added Limited Edition badging to the B-pillars. Inside you’ll find black leather seats and a nine-speaker JBL stereo.

All this builds on the existing C-HR Dynamic’s extensive equipment list, which includes LED lights, tinted rear windows, all-round parking sensors and keyless entry and start. The Limited edition also boasts Toyota’s touch 2 infotainment system with navigation as standard. Toyota Safety Sense also features, with adaptive cruise control, Automatic High Beam, Road Sign Assist, Lane Departure Alert and automatic emergency braking.

The top-of-the-range C-HR Limited Editon costs £1,910 more than the existing Dynamic version and just £765 less than an entry-level Range Rover Evoque. A SEAT Ateca 1.4 EcoTSI 150PS Xcellence with a DSG auto gearbox starts at £25,935 and comes with full-LED headlights, sat-nav and wireless phone charging.
