Special-edition Nissan Juke marks the release of the latest Batman movie

Nissan has added some ‘KAPOW!’ to the Juke with this special one-off Batman edition.

The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo was built to coincide with the release of the latest movie, and celebrates the brand’s partnership with Warner Bros.

It was styled by Nissan’s UK design team in London, and has matt black paint, aluminium Bat logos and gloss black 18-inch alloys. There’s also a shark fin antenna, a Nismo bodykit and lowered sports suspension.

Puddle lamps project the Bat logo on to the ground below the mirrors at night; an ‘uplighter’ does the same inside in tribute to the Bat signal from the films. Nissan is giving the car away in a competition closing in February.

The car was revealed as news broke that the original Batmobile is to be auctioned off. It’s based on the 1955 Lincoln Futura concept, and has been owned by US customiser George Barris since he created it for the original TV series and movie. It’ll go under the hammer on 19 January.
