RECOMMENDED Forget the basic appearance – this is an incredibly useful piece of kit. The main probe is the same shape as a cartridge fuse leg, so can easily be plugged in for testing. The combined spike and sliding jaw make it easy to break into a wire mid run. As well as indicating if a wire is live or not, three LEDs show voltage – up to 12V.
