At less than £10, this Stanley appeals at first glance. It has Gerber-like open handles, while the small blade worked well and there’s a good range of small drivers, plus a file and saw. But play in the handles allowed the flex to fold rather than cut on the short cutting edge. We’d also like to see a lock for the tools, and releasing them required too much effort.
