Pocket-sized Ring is ideal if storage is limited, and it put several bigger lamps to shame in the light test with its punchy 15 LEDs. But there are compromises, because although it has a belt clip, mounting options are limited to a multi-positioned stand which doubles as a hook. For this price we’d like to see a magnet, plus a 12V lead as well as the supplied mains charging.
