Laser 4262

Plastic probe and base signify that the Laser 4262 is a cheaper gauge than those with metal probes in our test. The screen and numbers are just as large as on the Halfords (above), but the 4262 doesn’t have any colour markings to identify the legal limit. There isn’t a case to store it in, either, and the instructions on the back of the pack are vague – they just advise you of the legal limit, not how to use the gauge.
