You get plenty of grunt with this well priced Draper inverter, but it does require an earth connected to the car’s shell. Not surprisingly it clips direct to the battery, but the supply is good, easily coping with all five of the devices used in this test at once.
The fan kicks in only when needed, and usefully it comes with spare blade fuses. Less impressive is the USB socket, which unfortunately we couldn’t get to work with our Apple equipment.
