Less powerful version of our winning inverter works off the cigar lighter – which is more convenient, but you pay for that in power. It struggled to cope with all our test kit, which pretty much pushed it to its limit. It worked fine with two or three at once, though, and the USB coped with Apple devices. Fine for light users, although Halfords price hurts its chances here.
