Deep-pile carpet in these mats makes for added comfort, albeit at the expense of ease of cleaning as trapped food or mud takes longer to shift. Still, the driver’s mat has a deep-ridged rubber section that holds dirt. The lack of cutting channels also means they won’t fit in every car, but they did sit comfortably in every car we tried them in.
