Japanese manufacturer Shimano is better known for its range of cycling components, but the CM-1000 can be used in a car like all the otheraction cameras here. It uses standard GoPro mounts so, although it didn’t come with many fittings, you have plenty of options. Picture quality was middle-of-the-road satisfying, and the unit was confusing and complicated to use – there are hardly any buttons, so it’s controlled with an app.
