It’s a second successive win for this no-frills cleaner from the chain store giant. As is so often the case in our tests, success comes from its ability across several elements. Like most rivals, Halfords Upholstery Cleaner had a tough time with the ink, but removed all traces of the chocolate, left just faint traces of the butter and was among the best at shifting general grime – its test section was clearly lighter than most rivals. Add a great price and easy spray and wipe application, and you have a worthy winner.
