Aston Martin's Geneva Motor Show stand is shaping up to be a special edition fest with two new models debuting

Aston Martin is preparing to unveil two special edition models at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the V8 Vantage N430 will be joined by the DB9 Carbon Black which is also available in Carbon White guise. The new models mark 101 years of Aston Martin production, with mechanical and cosmetic changes marking them out over the standard models.

Both Aston special editions have been decorated with carbon fibre trim inside and out. The Vantage N430 is availble in coupe or roadster form and features new forged alloy wheels, aerodynamic tweaks, a new black front grille, headlamps bezels, tailpipe finishers and clear rear lamps with black surrounds. The N430 is also available with the optional club sports graphics packs inspired by the radical CC100 Speedster concept revealed last year.

Under the skin, Aston has tuned the standard 4.7-litre V8 to develop 430bhp – matching the power output of the V8 Vantage S – with power fed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or optional seven-speed Sportshift gearbox. A sports exhaust, uprated brakes, tuned suspension and a quick-ratio steering rack have also been fitted as part of the upgrades.

The seats have been crafted out of carbon fibre and Kevlar, helping shed 20kg of weight and are trimmed with an indented Alcantara pattern.
