Ford C-Max

C-max takes inspiration from Iosis Max concept and features new ultra-efficient EcoBoost engines

With styling clearly inspired by the sleek Iosis MAX concept, the C-Max will makes its world debut at the Frankfurt Show. And Ford is hoping it can steal a march on its ageing rival, the Vauxhall Zafira.

Available in both 5 and 7-seater configurations, cabin quality is said to have taken a significant step forward. And that's not all, the C-MAX will be the first Ford to debut the new direct injection turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engines, with a 1.6 litre version in both 148bhp and 178bhp tune available at launch, as well as a range of frugal new diesel engines. Sales are due to start later this year.
