Aston Martin Rapide

It might seem like a familiar shape by now, but we still haven't seen official pictures of the production version of the Rapide. Those images are duie to break cover on 15 August, but in the meantime the grainy image shown here has been leaked onto the web.

Originatingfrom an in-house brochure, it shows usthe clearest view yet of the four-door-Rapide's luxurious cabin.

Asyou can see the layout comprises of four individual, lightweight bucketseats with the centre console splitting the cockpit stright down themiddle.

TFT screens fitted into the back of the front seatskeep the passengers entertained, while two-tone leather remindsoccupants that this is first and foremost a sports saloon. Stretchedunderpinning from the DB9 take the Rapide to over five metres long - sothere's a substantial boot in the back too.

Power comes from theDB9's 470bhp 6.0-litre V12 and a price tag of around £140,000 willplace it below the DBS but above the DB9 in Aston's range.

Checkback on August 15 when we'll have all the details and a full set ofofficial images of Aston's new family-friendly supercar.
