New Renault Twingo Iconic Special Edition added to range

New range topping Iconic Special Edition version of the Renault Twingo city car adds extra tech and unique styling tweaks

Renault has revealed a new range topping addition to the Twingo line up in the form of a new limited edition model called the Iconic Special Edition.

Based on the Dynamique Nav version of the firm’s city car, it introduces a clutch of additional standard equipment, alongside some unique styling tweaks and finishes.

Alongside white and black paint finish options, the Twingo Iconic Special Edition is also available in a new Mint Green shade. In the cabin it receives crosshatch-patterned part leather upholstery, mint green trim highlights and carpets with mint green Twingo motifs.

The same crosshatch pattern found on the seats is repeated on the exterior, with fresh side decals. A fabric sunroof and exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels complete the look.

Tech highlights include electronically folding mirrors, an R-Link infotainment system with built in satellite navigation, automatic headlights and wipers, plus Bluetooth, cruise control and a speed limiter function.

Under the bonnet, the Twingo Iconic gets the TCe 90 turbocharged 0.9-litre three-cylinder petrol unit, developing 89bhp. It’s available mated to either a manual gearbox or an optional automatic transmission.

Order books for the Twingo Iconic are open now, with first deliveries scheduled for later this month. Prices start from £14,595.
