Limited run Toyota GT86 Orange Edition kicks-off new Club Series models

This GT86 is Toyota’s first under a special edition series carrying the new Club Series badge

Toyota has revealed a new limited edition GT86 sports car, which is the first model in a new special edition series known as Club Series.

Called the GT86 Orange Edition, the special edition car draws on bespoke exterior details and finishes, plus new interior trim and a high grade of standard equipment.

Unsurprisingly, the GT86 Orange Edition breaks cover in a unique shade bright of Orange. The headline Solar Orange paintwork that lends its name to the car is created through the application of three separate coats.

Alongside the bright orange paint finish, some exterior touches are painted in contrasting black. The rear spoiler lip and door mirror housings are finished black, alongside the 17-inch alloy wheels.

In the cabin, the seats are upholstered in black leather and Alcantara, and are offset by contrasting orange stitching. Toyota’s Touch 2 infotainment touchscreen is standard and is bundled with DAB and Bluetooth. Heated front seats and aluminium sports pedals are a part of the package too.

Under the skin, the usual 2.0-litre boxer four-cylinder engine sits, developing 197bhp.

The new Club Series GT86 Orange Edition is on sale in the UK now. Prices start at £28,800 for the car with a six-speed manual gearbox, while £30,270 will net buyers an automatic version.
