Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition announced
Top-spec Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition reserved for existing customers
The Nissan Qashqai Premier Limited Edition has been announced. The launch model of the all-new crossover will initially be reserved for existing Nissan customers.
Just 2,007 examples will be built for the European market – the number marks the launch year of the original Qashqai – with 290 to be sold in the UK.
The Premier Limited Edition will be reserved for current Nissan customers to order until December 31 2013.
It’s based on the range-topping Tekna model, but also includes stone-coloured part-leather seats, a dark roof liner, custom dark carpets, chrome door sills, front lip and tailgate finisher and special Premier-branded kick plates. Each model also features a personalised numbered badge.
The Premier Limited Edition Qashqai is available in Pearl Black only and is powered by a 128bhp 1.6 dCi diesel engine. Nissan's 4x4-i system is standard.
Standard equipment carried over from the Qashqai Tekna includes 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and roof rails on the outside, and heated front seats, the new NissanConnect entertainment and navigation system, and a panoramic glass roof on the inside.
The car also includes Nissan’s Safety Shield tech as standard, which includes Front Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Support, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and High Beam Assist.
Nissan hasn’t revealed a price for the Qashqai Premier Limited Edition, but it’s likely to cost more than the £27,845 Qashqai Tekna diesel on which it’s based. Prices for the new Qashqai range start at £17,595.
