    The Paris Motor Show is one of the biggest motoring events of the years and this years celebrates its 120th birthday. The show brings in manufacturers from all around the world hoping to show off new concepts and models to the public.

    On display at Paris was the Bugatti Chiron Lego Technic. This is a 1:1 scale version of the Chiron made entirely out of 1 million Lego parts. It even has a working Lego engine meaning 5bhp and a top speed of 12mph.

    Alpine showed off its A110 GT4 racing car at Paris.

  • New Audi A1 Paris

    The facelifted Audi A1 made its Paris debut. The second generation A1 is larger than before and now features a more distinctive look. The A1 has proved to be a hit, with Audi selling over 830,000 models since 2011.

    The all-electric SUV got its public debut at the Audi stand in Paris. Competing with the Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model X, the e-tron has a 250-mile range and will go on sale in January, priced at under £70,000.

    The Audi R8 LMS GT3 has been given an update for Paris. The racing car gives us slight clues as to how the new Audi R8 will look when it is revealed later on this year, including those three small air vents beneath the bonnet line.

  • BMW 3 Series - Paris front

    BMW used Paris to unveil the newest generation of its 3-Series executive saloon.  The 3-Series is BMW’s best selling car and will arrive in the UK at the start of 2019.

    The BMW X5 got its public debut at Paris. There has not been a huge change visually to the new X5 but small details, such as the larger kidney grilles and new rear lights. Prices start at £56,710 and will be available in December.

  • BMW Z4 - Paris - Front

    Along with the new X5, Paris was also the public debut of the new BMW Z4. Built in partnership with Toyota, the Z4 is bigger than its predecessor and will feature more powerful engines than before.

    The C5 Aircross Hybrid Concept is a thinly veiled concept of the forthcoming Citreon C5 plug-in hybrid.  The C5 plug-in will be the third plug-in variant from PSA, following the Peugeot 3008 and DS 7 Crossback.

    The DS 3 hatchback has now morphed into a compact SUV at Paris. The DS 3 Crossback is the second SUV in the DS range and carries styling cues from both the old DS 3 and the DS 7 Crossback. An all-electric E-Tense version is expected to

    Along with the DS 3 Crossback, DS also showed off a plug-in hybrid version of its large SUV. As part of PSA’s plug-in assault, the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense is capable of 128mpg and 31 miles on electric power alone.

    These pair of Ferrari’s were built in homage to the racing 750 and 850 Monza Barchettas’ of the 1950’s. They are based on the underpinnings of a 812 Superfast, meaning a V12 capable of 789bhp. Both are road legal and both will set cust

    GAC showed off their GS5 compact crossover. GAC are a Chinese brand that is trying to break into other markets including North America and Europe.

    As well as their GS5 compact crossover, GAC also showed off the Enverge concept. It was first unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in a bid to gage audience reaction with the hope of cracking the American market by 2020.

    The Mercedes EQ Silver Arrow was first unveiled at Pebble Beach this summer and Mercedes has showed it off again at Paris. The EQ Silver Arrow is a 740bhp all-electric racer, inspired by the W 125 Grand Prix racing car from 1937.

    The Peugeot e-Legend concept is a 21<sup>st</sup> Century reimagining of the classic 504 Coupe. Powered by electric motors, the concept is not going to enter mainstream production but could be built as a limited production run.

    The Porsche 911 Speedster is based on the GT3 and was built to commemorate 70 years of Porsche. The Speedster will be built as a limited run production with just 1,948 reaching customers in early 2019.
