Jabra Freeway speakerphone

The Jabra Freeway finished third in our last test, but all the other devices in that shoot-out have since been discontinued

Our top choice

The Jabra Freeway finished third in our last test, but all the other devices in that shoot-out have since been discontinued. And while the Jabra costs £100, it feels worth every penny, from the soft cover over the speakers to the clearly labelled, easy-to-use buttons.

Voice commands make it simple to set up, and an FM transmitter sends audio through the car speakers. Not that you need to – the device’s speakers give a loud, clear and bassy sound.

As with the Supertooth, it has automatic reconnection and lets you pair two mobiles, but you have to detach the entire Freeway from the visor when you want to hide it. Online price of £60-£75 is easier to swallow.
