Supertooth Crystal in-car speakerphone

The newcomer

Despite costing half as much as the Jabra Freeway, the Supertooth Crystal offers similar functions.

It’s easy to pair with your smartphone, and can be connected to two phones at once – perfect if you have work and personal mobiles. The device also attaches to your sun visor via a magnetic clip, so you can take it away and leave only the clip on display when you’re not in your car.

But it doesn’t feel as solid as the Jabra, the buttons don’t respond as well and, worse still, the charging cable is too short to run from your 12V port to the sun visor. Sound quality isn’t great, either; our caller sounded tinny and complained of wind noise when we had the window wound down.
