Electricity is everywhere - harness it with the Juice Booster 2

The Juice Booster 2 offers flexibility, safety and incredible strength

It’s good practice to charge your EV whenever you can. Whether it’s a friend’s house, your workplace or somewhere else, you’ll need the right cable for the job - after all, there isn’t always going to be a proper EV charge point to rely on.

That’s where the Juice Booster 2 comes in, making topping up an EV as easy as charging your smartphone.

Charge anywhere

All you have to do is connect both ends of the cable - the Juice Booster 2 does the rest, automatically detecting which adaptor is in use and starting the charge at the maximum available power.

Included is both a UK three-pin adaptor and 32A CEE plug for three-phase industrial sockets. Plugged into the latter, it’s possible to charge at up to 22kW, almost 10 times what can be extracted from a domestic plug.

Also available are optional adaptors for red and the blue 16A CEE industrial sockets often found at campsites. There are five and 10-metre extension cables available, plus adapters for different household plug types found around the world, and one for a Type 2 connection. The Type 2 is particularly handy, as it means the Juice Booster 2 can be used at untethered destination chargers. It all means, you’ll only ever need to carry one cable in your car.

Charge safely

Normally, frequent charging from domestic plug sockets isn’t recommended due to the risk of cable fire caused by faulty wiring or poor contact installation. With the Juice Booster 2, there’s no need to worry, thanks to its two special temperature sensors. If overheating is detected, the Juice Booster 2 promptly stops the charging process.

The Juice Booster 2 also allows you to select a lower current than the one automatically detected via the device. It also comes with integrated residual current protection for your safety.

Charge whatever happens

Accidents happen, but with the Juice Booster 2, calamity is highly unlikely to stop you from charging. It’s light at under 1kg, but built tough - IP67-rated sealing means you can leave it outside whatever the weather, and if it’s accidentally driven over, the unit will just shrug it off. In fact, it’s able to withstand three tonnes of load. In the unlikely event of experiencing a problem, every Juice Booster 2 comes with a two-year warranty.

Charge with a trusted brand

Juice Technology was founded in Switzerland in 2014 and today is a globally-active, well-respected and highly competitive player in the EV charging world. Its Juice Booster 2 is already available as rebranded official accessories from Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis-owned brands and even electric hypercar firm Rimac.

Beyond the Booster 2, Juice also produces both AC and rapid DC static chargers, and software including the j+ pilot charge management smartphone app. Juice’s products have won multiple awards, including from the German organisations ADAC and TÜV SÜD.

The company landed in Britain earlier this year thanks to the establishment of Juice UK and Ireland, which included the forming of a dedicated UK sales team.
